I am a lover of children's books and for the past 20 years have worked as a publisher of classic and historical children's literature. I design curriculum for helping teachers and parents teach history using the best children's books available. I attempt to follow the spirit and model of a Charlotte Mason Approach using "living books" at all levels. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English from Simmons College in Boston and a graduate degree in Children's Literature from Simmons College as well.
This blog is devoted to all children’s book lovers everywhere, especially those devoted to using the best children’s literature across the curriculum. My hope is that this site will be a source of fun, encouragement and inspiration as we share our discoveries, joys and challenges working with treasures old and new in the children’s book world.
